I got my first tattoo, today, after years of being told I shouldn’t because overweight women with tattoos were trashy and mannish. After looking at pictures of all of you for days after I found this Tumblr, I thought, “Wait. None of these women look trashy or mannish. They’re all gorgeous. Why couldn’t I be gorgeous, too?” I’ve never felt prettier and more feminine than I do with my light blue star map on my left shoulder.
